A long dream of wandering through dense crowds; details lost. But every person in that crowd (or is it each dollar they carry?) is an energy vortex shaped like a paisley teardrop--a curved bow-wave and a trailing wake. The people have been virtually enslaved till now--almost stuck in place. Not just exploitation--sheer gridlock.

But when seen in this paisley way, seen as energy-nodes, they're smaller, lighter, with space around them. So they can pack a lot tighter, and that extra space makes it easier to rearrange the whole net. And I do--knowing that once I revert to the physical realm, my new node-pattern will look like a socio-economic revolution freeing these people!

All I wanted was to loosen up their gridlocked souls...

• Dollars, patterns, free these virtual slaves:
  1. I just read Steven Stoll's Ramp Hollow: the Ordeal of Appalachia. He argues that Appalachians owned the woods as a commons for supplemental hunting-and-gathering. Outside investors used deed-fraud to steal that commons; locals starved, had to become wage-slaves. This predates the better-known coal wars by generations--began before 1850.
  2. On the TV show Rake, a freemarket economist turns cannibal--eats a suicide! Economic theory says a rational consumer should...
  3. Me, a total slave to my art-demon for the last few years.
• Trapped, packed bodies: on TV, a girl got a temp Christmas job at an outdoor show for kids. 100 doves released "for peace". The flock emerges from a tiny box. She couldn't figure how the trick's done, till she found dozens of crushed doves in the bottom. The bird wranglers shrug "Can't expect 'em all to live. Who cares? I bet you eat chicken!" The girl distracted the kids from the corpses, then warned the show's backers, who fired the bird-crushers.
• Shrink dollars, pack more in: I reread my comical dream The Fount of Canadian Wisdom. I manifest cash, but what I get's a Canadian bill--a $25, not a $20, because the exchange rate is low and the dream didn't want to cheat me. So it invented a denomination!
• Paisley will solve it: hippie values! Do-it-yourselfism, sharing and co-ops will free us from capitalist gridlock.
• ACTION: freeing myself will be easier if I can change my focus from practicality--physical and financial limits--to where my energy is.
